This is an 8 channel digital video recorder for those that need professional performance. This DVR features an SATA interface which means that you can connect your DVR to an external hard drive. A SATA connector usually is used to connect hard disk drives and optical drives. Having the SATA outputs means that you can connect up to a 4TB drive. It also means, because it has two of these outputs, is that you can also connect another 4TB drive or a DVD burner drive.
This supports VGA output to a VGA monitor. It is controllable by a mouse. You can have full remote control through an internet web browser and cellphones. Using an IPhone, Google Phone, Blackberry and Windows phones.
You can also set this DVR to record on motion or at a specific time. The DVR has output triggers for your alarm system as well which means that if the camera system detects motion it can set the alarm off via these triggers.
