This DSC Kit16120CP01 is a DSC Power 1616 security system in a kit package that includes many of the core items generally needed for any installation. This kit is actually "wireless ready" and includes a keypad that has a built in wireless receiver.

DSC Kit16120CP01 includes:

• DSC Power 1616 board with the small cabinet
• DSC RFK5501 fixed LCD keypad with built in wireless receiver
• DSC Bravo3DP motion detector (hardwired)
• power transformer (16.5 / 40va)
• backup battery (12 volt 4 amp)
• 15 watt indoor siren (surface mount)
• phone jack and cord set (RJ31X)

Good - but not user friendly November 3, 2009

It was difficult to install and required a lot of time even though I am an Engineer. I had to have support to install a wireless portion and clearly would not have made it without the support.  Support from email concerning the wireless was several days getting to me, but
was a necessity. Two other inquiries went unanswered.  System now working fine and
has fantastic flexibility.
