If you have a current system and would like to add more devices to your system, but just cannot run a wire to the desired area, then you could simply add the wireless device (wireless receiver may be needed) you want.
Rather you have a hardwired system with a wireless receiver or a DSC wireless home security system, you must use DSC or DSC compatible wireless devices.
DSC has a variety of wireless devices. Not all wireless devices are completely compatible with each system.
If you have a DSC Alexor or the DSC Impassa systems, you can use any of the DSC wireless devices available. If you do not have one of these two systems, you can use most of the devices, except those with a part number beginning in WT. Devices with "WT" part numbers are for the Alexor and Impassa only. |
