The Tlink TL150 from DSC is an IP communicator compatible with the 5020, 1616, 1832 and 1864 DSC Power Series alarm systems. The module plugs into an ethernet port on your router and allows you to send alarm signals via an IP address to the central station in addition to or in place of a phone line as it is usually done.
The TL150 also provides local access and control of your system from a computer on the local network via a web interface. This access and control is only designed to be used on the local LAN, not from the outside the LAN. Outside access may be made to work via port forwarding on your router but it is not a supported feature. |
