If you have a GE Caddx Networx security system and would like the convenience of programming your system via computer instead of the keypad, then the GE Caddx NX-586E Direct Connect Module is what you'll need to get that accomplished.
You can use this direct connect module in conjunction with GE's DL900 programming software. You can store up to 4 panels worth of basic programming information in this module as well. It will not, however, store any information of any other modules attached to the system.
You can just program using this and don't have to use the storage capability of the module though. If you don't have an alpha-numeric keypad or just love using computers to program things with then you'l love this item!

- Computer running DL900 (download software for Windows®) with available serial port
- NX-586E Direct Connect module
- Any NetworX control panel
