We have quite a few people ask us about an LED status light for their Honeywell systems. DSC has had an LED status light out for some time. Well now you Honeywell owners can have your very own.
The LED status light is a 5800 series device, so that means that you will have to have a Honeywell system with a wireless receiver. There is no wired connection back to the panel, so there's no hassle in installing this one. The 5877 comes with it's own 12V power supply and will indicate system status as described below:

Solid GREEN System READY
LED OFF System NOT READY
Flashing ORANGE Alarm while Armed
The 5877 also has the ability, through it's built-in relay, to operate a garage door using any 5800 series keychain remote that has a button that can be programmed. The programmed button will get learned into the 5877 as well as learned into the main panel's programming. You can use up to 7 remotes with one 5877.
