This is the flush mount variety of the FG1625 from Honeywell that uses Flex-Core processing. Flex-Core processing can distinguish between breaking glass and false alarms with this new innovative technology. It has been thoroughly tested by Honeywell technicians to make sure it does what they say it'll do. This unit is easy to setup and install and can be remotely tested with a simulator.
The FG1625F has two DIP switches internally that you can use to set the sensitivity to match the sound profile in the room that you put it in. There is no minimum range and the max range is 25 feet. It can detect glass breakage from all kinds of glass.
