The Honeywell Lynx Plus security system is a combination of features that allows this little system the ability to compete with the big boys of the wired variety of security systems. The Lynx uses microcomputer technology to monitor security zones, display alpha-numeric information, and instate appropriate alarms.
The Honeywell Lynx features a two way voice system that doubles as a speakerphone. In conjunction with central station monitoring; a station operator may carry on a dialog with a person at the home that the Lynx protects. This feature is great for the elderly and anyone who may have varying types of disabilities. Central station operators can gather information that may help authorities en route to the scene via two-way conversation with occupants.
