The Vista 15P 6160 Security System Kit features the 6160 alpha display keypad. The Vista series alarms require one of the 6160, 6160RF, or 6160V keypads for programming. The Honeywell Vista 15P is a mid level system that can do six hardwire zones out of the box, with the capability to do up to 32 zones total (up to 22 of them hardwired and up to 26 of them wireless) with the use of hardwire expansion and wireless expansion. Supports two wire and four wire type smokes, features up to 32 user codes, and a time stamped 50 event log viewable on the 6160 model keypads. The Vista 6160 Kit includes: 1 Vista 15P Control, 1 6160 Alpha Programmable LCD keypad, 1 IS235 Hardwired Motion Detector, 1 Wave2 106db siren, 1 PTC1640 Transformer, 1 12volt 4amp battery, 1 RJ31x phone jack, Vista 15P User Guide and Programing Guide.
The 6160, 6160RF, or 6160V alpha programmable keypads are required for initial setup. You may use any of the other Honeywell keypads that are listed on our site for secondary keypads, but a 6160 series keypad is a must to program these panels. It makes go through programming mode a breeze because of the alpha read out.
