The pc5108 zone expander allows you to add another eight hardwired zones to your security system. The 1864 board can use up to seven- pc5108 eight zone expanders and will house three in the cabinet, if more than three are a must a separate expansion cabinet will be needed, the 1832 can use up to three that will fit in the cabinet, and the 1616 can only use one zone expander that will not fit in the cabinet so a separate expansion cabinet will be needed, this expander draws 35ma
