The Uplink 2500 Cell Communicator is great for those who wish to have a backup for communicating alarms signals to a central station monitoring service. If you have your security system connected to a land-line phone line for communicating to a central station and have worries about your phone line being cut, this will alleviate your worries because it communicates via cell frequency. This unit can be used with most brands of security systems.

The 2500 hooks into your siren terminals and what signal is sent, either burglary or fire, will depend on what pulse your siren is sending. The sirens pulse two different ways depending on if a burglary condition or a fire condition exists.
