If you are familiar with Uplink's 2500 model then you know that the 2500 is a simple two signal reporter. It will report a burglary signal or a fire signal based on the alarms siren pulse. If you're not satisfied with that and want all codes to be sent to the central station then that's where the 2550 comes into play!

The 2550 works on the premise of dialer capture. But, unlike the 2530, the 2550 can bee hooked into the phone terminals and it also has an additional phone jack built into the unit so that you can report through the telephone line. Therefore you can use the 2550 as the primary reporter or as a secondary reporter due to the built in phone jack. The 2550 will send all signals and let the central station know exactly which zone(s) are being triggered.

NOTE: Requires it's own power supply but you may be able to acquire power from the alarm systems backup battery
